Beset by peculiar cycles, Aleph is a harsh planet, but even still, an abundance of life thrives. From the scorched deserts near the equator to freezing ice-lands at the poles, a wide selection of unusual life-forms have learned to survive throughout the harsh times and to revel in the fertile summers.

The single sentient species of the planet, the Merideti, are only one of the series of creatures that call this place their home. Spread across the planet, they number just over one billion, though they are a fractured series of cultures. The five clans--also known as the five Elkere--of Merideti that make their homes in the southern hemisphere, within the eastern-most range of mountains on the continent Tanyua, are the ones around which this site revolves. (So far, at least!) They are a whimsical, carefree culture, heavily influenced by religion and superstition, and relatively low on the technological totem-pole. A friendly people, for all that they are fairly sheltered, they have just recently discovered the Nexus, and from there is where everything begins.

Please use the links at the top of the page to navigate throughout the site. The Information link will contain information on everything from breeding restrictions to physical makeup, to cultural practices and life-cycles, as well as more information about Aleph, itself. Events is the page you want to go to to see what current events are occurring at this site (Much like information on available clutches, at other Nexus agencies). Visit the Acclaim page if you have a Merideti with which you would like to equip with jewelry and other nick-nacks. The Residents page contains a list of the various people living within the five Elkere on Tanyua.
